<p>Ca. 5 thick multicellular hairs along the veins and a dense layer of filiform hairs on the abaxial leaf surface of P. malvifolia. NB: the multicellular hairs on the abaxial surface of this taxon are typically less numerous and smaller (shorter and thinner) than those of other Pericallis taxa.</p>
