Pericallis appendiculata subsp. squamulosa (L. fil.) K. E. Jones comb. nov.

Leaf lamina cordate to ovate, very rarely lanceolate, with an acute apex and sinus >0.5mm deep; petiole appendiculate or ex-appendiculate; appendages, where present, <6mm long, fewer than 6 per petiole. Phyllary bracts with more than ten patent purple echinules per bract. Ray floret ligules white to cream.
